If you go to your account settings you can add the "Fast Food" tag to be blocked from front page & new deals.

Good method on bypassing fast food deals.
sss333 on 13/08/2024 - 13:44
Or click on the tag, and then the three dots and the options are there as well

You can block domain/store (ie. mcdonalds.com.au) and tags (ie. Fast Food) under your blocked list

So I need to ask the person serving me if they are 15 or older?
Any idea what size these are?

Also are they also going to I.D. kids to make sure they're 15 or older?

What's the quality of the glasses these days? Previous ones I've got were questionable from memory.
eagleeyedpixel on 13/08/2024 - 15:55
The last ones they did were the metal ones which were terrible.
We are still using all the other McDonalds glasses as our daily ones, they have survived for years and daily dishwasher so hopefully similar quality.Pinchy on 13/08/2024 - 16:42

What about the swirl ones they had. Didn’t even sit flat in a table..

It's nice for whisky
Ghost47 on 14/08/2024 - 18:28
They had the flat-bottomed lowball glasses 2-3 years ago which weren't horrible. I mean they're just glasses that are Made in China, nothing spectacular but not horrible.

"Collector's edition" - I wonder how collectible those hundreds of thousands of glasses they produce for each of these promotions really are…

Each glass features two images on either side, with Grimace from 1976 coupled with Nao Blocks - Fry from 2015, the Ronald McDonald House 25 Years co*ke delivery truck from 1999 and the Coco-Cola contour glass image from 2009 sharing a glass and Shrek from 2007 joining Minions from 2015.
Hello Kitty Crew Keychain from 2000 join Peanuts Park Ranger Snoopy from 2002, Hot Wheels from 1993 and Barbie from 1999 are on the same glass and TY Patti the Platypus from 1997 is coupled with Golden Arches Bear from 2004.

I’m still confused on their relevance. Grimace is self explanatory but the others….. were they happy meal toys?

If these were the 2022 glasses I might've been interested.
Ghost47 on 14/08/2024 - 18:30
The best ones were probably the Batman Forever ones from 1995, the detailing on those were pretty amazing.

The Darling Harbour Maccas near the IMAX is currently offering a choice of Grimace or Ty bear. Wonder if other stores have different stock in, or all currently the same. I'm after the Snoopy/Hello Kitty one.

I hope that glass isn't ground into a fine powder and added to the meal, Oz style.

Store I went to today said they have all the glasses, and I can choose as well.
Store I went to last night only have one design.
YMMV based on stores.
