BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana returns to action Sunday afternoon, more than a week after its 79-59 loss at Purdue on Feb. 10.
Coach Mike Woodson and the Hoosiers host Northwestern at 3 p.m. ET inside Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall. The Wildcats are coming off a 63-60 loss at Rutgers on Thursday night, a game in which they shot just 36% from the field. Northwestern will also be without starting guard Ty Berry, who is out for the season with a torn meniscus.
Northwestern has had Indiana’s number in recent seasons. It’s the only Big Ten school Woodson has not beaten since becoming Indiana's head coach in the 2021-22 season.

Meet the coaches
- Chris Collins, Northwestern: Collins is in his 11th season at Northwestern with a 173-170 overall record and a 76-127 mark in Big Ten play. Collins took Northwestern to its first ever NCAA Tournament in 2017 and second in 2023, both ending with losses in the Round of 32. In eight of Collins’ first 10 seasons, Northwestern has finished ninth or worse in the Big Ten. Collins was previously an assistant coach at Duke from 2000-13, and he also played under Mike Krzyzewski from 1992-96.
- Mike Woodson, Indiana: Woodson is in his third season at Indiana with a 58-36 overall record and a 27-26 mark in regular season Big Ten play. Woodson has NBA head coaching experience with the Atlanta Hawks from 2004-10 and the New York Knicks from 2012-14. Woodson played at Indiana University from 1976-80, and was named the Big Ten's Most Valuable Player as a senior under coach Bob Knight.
