2024-2025 SEASON INFORMATION

Mark your calendars now! Individual tickets for the 24/25 season go on sale August 19 at 9 a.m. Season ticket renewals will go out to current season ticket holders by June 28. Noises Off (Sept. 26-29)

Bedell Performance Hall. Sept. 26-28 at 7:30 p.m. and Sept. 28-29 at 2 p.m. A classic farce praised for its comedy, Michael Frayn’s Noises Off follows a London theatre troupe attempting to put on a production of Nothing On with trouble onstage and drama offstage. The troupe begins to fall apart as their 10-week tour continues, and it all ends with a hilarious and frantic final curtain to close out their performances. Mature Content. Discounts Available. She Kills Monsters (Oct. 10-12)

Rust Flexible Theatre. Oct. 10-12 at 7:30 p.m. After the death of Agnes Evans’s younger sister, she approaches her grief by exploring her sister’s made-up world in her Dungeons & Dragons notebook. Through this imaginary world, she battles dangerous enemies while discovering a new side of herself and who her sister is. This energetic dramatic comedy by Qui Nguyen pays homage to the fighter and dreamer in all of us. Mature Content. Discounts Available. Lanford Wilson Short Plays (Oct. 24-26)

Rust Flexible Theatre. Oct. 24-26 at 7:30 p.m. An entertaining evening of theatre featuring the top ten short plays from the 2024 Lanford Wilson Playwright Festival. Mature Content. Oklahoma! (Nov. 14-21 and 21-24)

Rust Flexible Theatre. Nov. 14-16 and 21-23 at 7:30 p.m. and Nov. 16-17 and 23-24 at 2 p.m. The first collaboration of the team Rodgers & Hammerstein follows the love story of cowboy Curly and farm girl Laurey as they find a way to make a life together in uncharted western America. The memorable tunes and delightful characters of this classic golden age musical will have you shouting O-K-L-A-H-O-M-A – OKLAHOMA! Discounts Available. Winter Dance Collection (Feb. 6-9)

Bedell Performance Hall. Feb. 6-8 at 7:30 p.m. and Feb. 8-9 at 2 p.m. Enjoy this annual dance exhibition featuring original choreography from southeast students and guest choreographers. Girlhood (Feb. 27-March 2)

Rust Flexible Theatre. Feb. 27 - March 1 at 7:30 p.m. and March 1-2 at 2 p.m. The world-premiere of Ida Esmaeili’s electrifying new play, Girlhood follows seven teenage girls over the course of a year as they prepare for their debutante ball, a night which will dramatically change their lives forever. Navigating the tragedies of adolescence, they are funny, strong, and deeply flawed as they try to figure it out. Esmaeili is an exciting new voice in the American Theatre. Mature Content. Off Campus - Various Locations. 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Sample Cape's finest eateries while supporting Dobbins Conservatory students. Proceeds will benefit students as they prepare and travel to the BFA Showcase in New York City. For tickets, call (573) 651-2149. Tickets $12.

Fault Line Film Festival (March 20-21)

Rose Theatre - Grauel Building - FREE - An annual short film competition for university and high school students from across the nation. Sponsored by EBO MD.

Restaurant Hop (March 24)

Various Local Businesses. March 24 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sample Cape's finest eateries while supporting Dobbins Conservatory students. Moving Perspectives (March 20-22)

Rust Flexible Theatre. March 20-22 at 7:30 p.m. Featuring original works created and choreographed by the talented students in the Holland College, enjoy an evening of contemporary dance performances. Discounts Available. Extravaganza (April 9)

Cultural Arts Center at 5:30 p.m. Help support the professional master class series for seniors and fund student travel for the BFA Showcase in NYC. For reservations, call (573) 651-2149

Into the Woods (April 10-13)

Bedell Performance Hall. April 10-12 at 7:30 p.m. and April 12-13 at 2 p.m. A musical based on classic fairytales, Stephen Sondheim’s Into the Woods tells the story of a Baker and his wife who must complete a series of tasks from a witch to get their wish. They meet several other wishful characters in the woods, and they all learn that wishing can lead to dire consequences. Together they must help save each other, the kingdom, and their wishes, or else be lost to the woods. Discounts Available. Godspell (April 24-27)

Rust Flexible Theatre. April 24-26 at 7:30 p.m. and April 26-27 at 2 p.m. An eclectic retelling of the life of Jesus Christ, Stephen Schwartz’s Godspell features a troupe of performers who tell the parables of the Gospel of Matthew through games, storytelling, and comedy. This adaptation includes songs ranging from pop to vaudeville styles and teaches to share love, kindness, and acceptance in your community. Discounts Available.
