Even if you know how to solve the problem, let your subordinates try to themselves.If the boss is always solving the problem, their junior leaders will never learn how.This creates a workplace dependent on the boss for plans, ideas, and problem-solving.Your team will be less effective if they are waiting on the top leader for direction.Every team member should be empowered to make decisions and execute.

We are our worst enemies. Our human tendencies - to procrastinate on problems, avoid change, be undisciplined, listen to our egos, and cast blame - get us into trouble, worsening problems and sowing the seeds of failure. But we're not alone in the struggle to get out of our way. At Echelon Front, we've worked with over 1,600 companies, and leaders and teams everywhere have the same weaknesses.
